An independent neurological evaluation is a specialized independent medical evaluation  (IME) conducted by a neurologist.  Like an IME, during an independent neurological evaluation, the neurologist evaluates the patient's file and performs a thorough neurological assessment to answer specific questions posed by insurers or lawyers.
